Apply to the 2025 VA Pride Scholarship

The deadline is September 3

Virginia Pride has partnered with our friends at Bank of America to offer $10,000 in scholarship funds for post-high school education! Two $5,000 awards will be made! 

How to apply

The scholarship is open to students who will be 18 years of age or older on or by September 27, 2025 and who are attending or have been accepted to a Virginia college, university, community college or trade school.  Proof of acceptance or enrollment is required.   

The deadline to apply is September 3. People are asked to answer three questions:  

  • Think about your life over the last few years.  What are you most proud of? Why?   What would you change or do differently if you could? Why? 

  • Think about your plans for the future.  What do you hope to accomplish?  How will your past experiences help you?  How will this support help you achieve your goals? 

  • How do you intend to use your education or life experience to advance equality for the LGBTQ community, either as a member of the community or an ally?
