Virginia Pride, a program of Diversity Richmond, works to ensure that LGBTQ people across the Richmond region feel safe, seen, and celebrated in all aspects of community life. Through community partnerships, advocacy, and events—including the Commonwealth’s largest Pridefest—its work fosters visibility, belonging,and connection in RVA and beyond.
Presented by Richmond Region Tourism’s OutRVA program, Pridefest 2026 will take place Sept. 12 from 12 pm to 8 pm at Midtown Green in Richmond, VA.
Pridefest 2026 will be a day filled with love and celebration. There will be incredible mainstage entertainment, around 200 queer, community-focused, and engaging vendors, food trucks, and excellent selfie opportunities.
LGBTQ youth, their friends, and families can celebrate with age-appropriate entertainment and activities at the Allianz Youth Pride Pavilion.

Come ready to dance, sing, and pop a hand fan at the Kroger Mainstage featuring Virginia’s music scene and incredible national talent! There is something for everyone among this diverse and queer lineup.
Known for his chart-topping hits “Crème Brulée” and “Crush,” David Archuleta will headline the Kroger Mainstage. He will share the stage with country musician Chris Housman, pop performer Madison Rose, and RuPaul’s Drag Race alum A’keria Davenport.
Local bands and artists will entertain all day long. The Chapstix will bring a familiar playlist, R&B singer-songwriter Teshia LeSane and Sound will bring the soul, and What’s Our Age Again? will bring the 2000’s pop-punk nostalgia as they all return to the Pridefest stage for another year. No matter your vibe, rapper Trio, hip-hop artist Young Shiloh, reggaeton artist Nat, and dream pop Ari Voxx will get you moving.

Join us for VA Pridefest 2026: Know Before You Go
VA Pridefest 2026, presented by OutRVA, is Saturday, September 12 from 12-8pm and we’re excited to welcome thousands of people to celebrate at the Midtown Green at 2401 W. Leigh Street.
There will be more than 200 vendors and exhibitors selling merchandise, sharing information, and offering fun activities. Youth-friendly vendors and activities will be available in the Allianz Youth Pride Pavilion.
Entertainment will be on two stages: The Kroger Pridefest Mainstage and age-appropriate acts on the Allianz Youth Pride Pavilion stage.

General volunteer activities may include help with setting up decorations, parking assistance, greeting attendees, information desk, ADA area assistance, checking VIP badges, Youth Pride activities, and event breakdown.

Here are the requirements to apply:
Must be 18 years of age or older on or by Sept. 12
Enrolled in a college, university, community college or trade school in Virginia.
The deadline to apply is August 23.
